:
In spite of the increased numbers of those who work in the field of e-commerce,this does not mean that some consumers are not subject to some pisks.The e-consumer does not have the sufficient knowledge and information about the seller when he deals with him,so he may expesed to deal with a fake seller and fake websites.It is very essential to show and clarify the criminal protection which the law provides to the e-consumer.The problem lies answering the following: - What is the criminal protection for the e-consumer in the field of e commerce in Saudi and Egyptian Law? Methodology of the study: The researcher used the analytic deductive and campartive method The most significant findings: The kingdom of Saudi Arabia is considered to be one of the most developed countries where the use of information technology and communication is increasing,so the government of Saudi Arabia took rational and serious actions and steps to organize this development and take advantage of it in order to support the national economy.Kingdom of Saudi Arabia exacted several laws that provide sufficient protection for this type of transactions.The Egyptian legislator did not remain sient towards this development in the field of global commerce the logisrotor did its best to enaot some legislation's for this kind of transactions in order to promote the national economy as well as promoting develop ments in the sector in order to keep up with other countries of the world. Recommendations: The researcher recommends that the Ministry of Commerce and Investment should establish campalgns to raise awareness and educate the consumers as well as warning them against the risks they may be exposed to through dealing with this kind of transactions. the lesearcher also, suggests binding the e-stores that are availible in social media to get a commercial register or record so that the consumer dose not deal with fake people who have criminal targets.
