Abstract |

The most prominent objectives of this study is to identify the importance of the requirements of the application Six Sigma methods in Jeddah Technical College, as well as to identify preparations of Jeddah Technical College for applying the methods of Six Sigma .In addition, to identify impediments to implement Six Sigma methods in Jeddah Technical College.
The researcher followed this study in order to reach their goals and to answer the questions on the descriptive survey analytical, where the researcher conducting studies on all members of senior management in the College of Technology in Jeddah and they are (Dean, Vice Dean, Managers of Units, Heads of departments, in charge of administrative work). The total number of a single study population 118.
The researcher designed study tool (questionnaire), contained in the first part of some demographic questions, and the second part represents board-resolution, have included over 78 words spread over three areas: the first factor is operations requirements Six Sigma methods, the second factor is preparations of Jeddah Technical College for the application of Six Sigma methods, and the third factor is impediments applying Six Sigma methods at Jeddah Technical College.
The main results of this study: The approval came on phrases importance requirements Six Sigma methods degree response OK, and approval came on phrases preparations of Jeddah Technical College for the application of operations Six Sigma methods degree response OK, and approval came on statements impediments of the application Six Sigma methods in Jeddah Technical College degree neutral response.
The most important recommended by the researcher based on the study include: to adopt using Six Sigma methods system for quality management, hiring and consultants to apply Six Sigma methods in Jeddah Technical College, to provide qualified human cadres to apply Six Sigma methods in Jeddah Technical College, and to provide an effective system of incentives in Jeddah Technical College and linking it to successfully apply Six Sigma methods, involvement member of staff in decision-making. |
