Abstract : The chemical constituents that isolated from ajuga from 1990 to 2000 in addition to the previous period 1970 to 1989 had been collected in this review. Showing the uses of these constituents in different applied fields, such as, insecticides, antifeedant and growth regulators, and other fields such as medicine, pharmacology, biology and traditional medicine. The research results that had been done on two of ajuga species in Saudi Arabia show a valuable effect as insecticides and also in medicine and traditional medicine.
