Abstract
:
Helicobacter Pylori remain the principal Helicobacter species in humans with high infection rates cause 600,000 gastric cancer cases in both developing and developed countries. Helicobacter Pylori is a Gram-negative bacteria and is the known as a major human bacterial pathogen that responsible for gastroduodenal diseases. Once acquired and colonized, it can persist for life in the stomach. A small population of carriers develops acute and chronic gastritis, peptic ulcer disease, gastric adenocarcinoma and mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue tumor (MALTA). In most cases, Helicobacter Pylori infection is completely asymptomatic or has almost imperceptible symptoms. Helicobacter pylori has different shapes based on the type of media, in gastric biopsy specimens are blunted/rounded ends but on agar medium are rod-like and spiral form, while on prolonged culture are coccoid. The pathogenicity and the colonization of Helicobacter pylori for different strains are virulence factors dependent. Although, every infected individual carries a unique set of strains associated with a disease, important geographic differences in susceptibility to the disease exist, as clear-cut markers for Helicobacter. Pylori strains. The persistent strains that affect the native populations in Almadinh Al munawarah are not studied so far. Methods of detection of Helicobacter pylori can be divided into invasive (endoscopic) and non-invasive tests. The examination of stained histological sections remains the gold standard for Helicobacter pylori detection. Also, early detection and molecular characterization of the disease agents has a significant impact on future control strategies. In this study, A total of 100 endoscopic gastric biopsies formalin-fixed paraffin wax embedded blocks (FPEB) from Helicobacter pylori infected patients during 2008-2018 were retrieved and were subjected to different stains and molecular procedures.
