The field of unsupervised learning is growing, though it has not yet been properly investigated. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to investigate how using English educational videos in an unsupervised environment could enhance Saudi EFL learner’s English vocabulary level. The study was conducted with three female Saudi participants in their pre-preparatory year. The participants were sent a 2-5-minute YouTube Video in English via WhatsApp on a daily basis for 24 continuous days; their task was to watch this video and understand it carefully. Participants’ daily reflections were received in Arabic using the follow-up sheet. The design of this study included an unrelated pre and a post-interview, a pre and a post-test, and a treatment report based on the daily follow-up sheets. The major findings were as follows: (A) English as a Foreign Language (EFL) learners have approved this unsupervised way of learning; (B) Participants were able to be committed to this unsupervised way of learning; and (C) This unsupervised language learning strategy helped in increasing participants’ English vocabulary level. It may be argued that this unsupervised language learning strategy was helpful in increasing female I-generation Saudi EFL learners English vocabulary level.
