Abstract
:
The present study aimed at detecting the relationship between emotional intelligence and aggressive behavior among adolescent females living in the carehouses and adolescent females in their families, and the detection of the difference between adolescent females living in carehouses and adolescent females in their families in emotional intelligence and aggressive behavior, and the extent to which emotional intelligence affects its dimensions and predictive Adolescent females in carehouses. The study sample consisted of 31 adolescent females in carehouses and 130 adolescent females in their families in Jeddah. In the study the researchers used two tools to measure : 1- The emotional intelligence scale of Rasha al-Didi (2005). 2 - the measure of aggressive and hostile behavior of adolescents and young people of Amaal Badhah (2003). The researcher used the descriptive correlation method, and some statistical methods including: Pearson correlation coefficient, variance testing, and linear regression coefficient. The results of the study reached: 1 - There is a negative relationship between the emotional intelligence and aggressive behavior of adolescents in the carehouses and adolescents in their families. 2 - There are no differences between adolescents in the carehouses and adolescents in their families in emotional intelligence and Its sub-dimensions except treatment of relationships . 3- There are no differences between adolescents in the carehouses and adolescents in their families in aggressive behavior and Its sub-dimensions . 4 - the possibility of predicting the rise of emotional intelligence to decrease the aggressive behavior of adolescents living in the carehouses. After reviewing the study, the researcher recommended the following: * Conduct more studies that shed light on other factors contributing to aggressive behavior. * Do many programs and activities and courses that work to development of emotional intelligence, which helps to alleviat
