Abstract
:
Small and medium projects are considered to be the most effective and important elements in achieving economic development in the countries of the world. They are the largest of all types of economic projects. The study aims to investigate the importance of SMEs and their obstacles and ways of developing them. In order to achieve this study, the researcher collected information about some of the small and medium projects, from several governmental and private bodies, books and previous studies. To achieve the objective of the study, the study used the standard method to study the economic role of small and medium projects in the Saudi economy through SAMA data using time series analysis tools to determine the relationship between independent variables by estimating the multiple regression function. The results of the study were among the most important results (small and medium projects have an active role in the Saudi economy).
