The subject of the research is the Policy of Al-Sheikh Khaza'l Ben Jaber Al-Kaaby in the Arabian Emirate of Al-Ahwaz(Arabestan) during the period of(1315 - 1343 AH / 1897 - 1925 AD). The aim is to highlight the main political features of the Arabian Emirate of Al-Ahwaz in the era of Al-Sheikh Kha'al. The research started from the year 1315 AH / 1897 AD when Al- Shikh Khaz'al took over the reins of government of the Arabian Emirate of Al-Ahwaz and ended in the year of 1343 AH / 1925 AD when the Persians occupied the Arabian Emirate of Al-Ahwaz and its prince Al-Sheikh Khaz'al was arrested. The research gave a brief of the region of Arabestan through its name, geographical location and the most important natural wealth: the water and the petrol, and its historical roots that prove its Arabic origin land and human. Afterwards it discussed the life of Al-Sheikh, his lineage, social life and the administrative affairs during ruling the Emirate. Then featured the internal and external policy of Al-Sheikh Khaz'al Al Kaaby, his relationship with Britain before and after the First World War, the most important agreements between him and the British. Also explained the relationship between Al-Sheikh Khaz'al and the neighboring countries such as Kuwait, Iraq and Najd and how he faced the Persian ambitious in his Emirate.
Subsequent the changing of the British policy after the First World War, Al-Sheikh Khaza'l nominated himself for the throne. However Britain refused supporting him because of its fears that he would establish a union between his Emirate and Iraq. The rivals of the Prince Faisal Be Al-Hussein were eliminated from the throne which was the reason that Al-Sheikh Khaza'l deal with caution with the new Iraqi government. The appearance of Reda Khan and his racist vision towards the Arabs had an important effect on the unsettled rule of Al-Sheikh Khaza'l and its end.
The two countries that had interests in the region had supported this occupation according to their interests, Britain didn't support him in spite of all the promises that had given to him, and Russia had special relationships with Reda Khan and didn't want that the rule of Al-Sheikh Khaza'l to continue in the Arabian Emirate of Al-Ahwaz that resulted in ending the Arab regime in Al-Ahwaz.
The researcher followed in the study the descriptive historical research method that depends on collecting the scientific materials from different resources such as the books of the Gulf general history, history books of Al-Ahwaz and Iraq, the documents and references, scientific researches, then applying the scientific analysis in order to extract the results that achieve the main goal of the study.
The most important results are: the region of Al-Ahwaz is an Arab land that was occupied by the foreign powers at that time, the Persian government, presented by Reda Khan, was authorized to occupy the region to support the Persian extending policy that Arabs still suffering from till present.
The opinion of the researcher is that the studies about the Arab region of Al-Ahwaz are very few, must increase the studies from different sides and publish it in the Arab nations in order to get to know the Emirate that Iran would like to erase its Arab origin and give everything related to that Emirate the Persian identity, must support the people of Al-Ahwaz in its resistance to the Persian occupation, support the organization of Al-Ahwaz that has an effective role in spread the conditions of Emirate Al-Ahwaz internally and externally.
