Abstract : The crime of forgery in the electronic document in the Saudi law. Comparative study. Prepared by: Nada Musleh Al-Juhani. Supervised by: Dr. Magda Fouad. Abstract. This chapter deals with the crime of forgery in the electronic document in the Saudi system and divided it into four chapters. The introductory chapter deals with the nature of the electronic crime and its historical development. The first chapter deals with the nature of the crime of forgery in the electronic document and its elements. Finally, chapter 3 deals with methods of combating the crime of forgery in the electronic document - sanctions - in international conventions and statutes. The study found that the crime of electronic forgery is one of the most serious cybercrimes. It is an emerging crime aimed at attacking computer data by forging electronic data. The study also found that the Saudi regulator did not provide a definition of the crime of forgery in the electronic document, but merely referred to as a form of cybercrime in the system of combating cybercrime. We also urge the Saudi regulator to provide an integrated system for the crime of forgery in the electronic document, where the system includes a statement of the concept of the electronic document and its legal aspects. The study also concluded that the scholars differed in the definition of the electronic document that replaced the crime of electronic forgery. On the output of the computer only, and some of the expansion of its concept to all that is stored in the memory of the computer, and we urge the Saudi regulator to take the broad sense, and finally the study found that the electronic document replaces the crime of forgery is a document Palm Because it contains the element of writing and proof, as well as the possibility of reading the written evidence and the continuity of the written evidence and its non-changeability, and thus the electronic document is no less important than the paper document.
