Abstract
:
This program is the first and only one among the courses designed in the department. It was prepared as a scholastic program for deaf girls to improve their skills in the creative handwork. A sample of 9 deaf girls was the subject of this study. The ages of them were from 19 to 24 years. The concentration was on knowledge, skill and the emotional aspects. The study has showed the efficiency of the program. The program had 13 lectures provided the scholastic information step by step. Any lesson had a main target divided into sub targets as behaviorism targets. They consisted the knowing aspects, skillful aspects and the emotional aspects. The study achieved the behaviorism targets through schooling and practicing activities. There were different lessons. Some of them were for individual work, while the others were for team works. In the other hand, individual differences had been concerned with the variety of education procedures, strategies and methods of teaching. Preparations and modification of the illustrations were to be suitable for their abilities. Providing a suitable supporter for every student . The study has showed statistical differences in the skills, knowing and emotional levels in the sample of the study before and after the course. At the end of the course period, a 40*30 piece of textile with tapestry and carpets technics was for each student.
