Abstract
:
Objectives: To make use of the Holy Qur’an and benefiting from abundant knowledge. It also helps meditate it, identifying various sources of exegeses. The thesis also allows the acquisition of the gift of interpreting the Qur’an by interpreting some verses through highlighting the methods adopted by some exegetes in an attempt to apply them to understand the Book of Allah Almighty. This is also through pinpointing exegetes’ approaches by way of intensive reading of exegesis books, touching on the development of the science of exegesis and the practical application of academic curricula for the final outcome to be an exegesis encyclopedia with a prudent academic methodology. This is beside practicing exegesis utilizing parsing and figurative styles. Research Method: Collecting Exegesis texts from considerable printed exegeses arranged in a chronological order, avoiding repetition of quotes. Then a file is assigned to each verse, dividing quotes into two parts: narrative part and examination part. This is beside benefiting from exegetes’ quotes in terms of criticism and determining which views are more likely to get decisive statements in case of exegetes’ disagreement. Add to this, the chains of narrators of Hadiths and other quotes are examined and their authenticity is checked, with the exclusion of those found in the authentic books by Al-Bukhari and Muslim, or in one of them. I also benefitted from the views of critics and Hadith scholars with regard to the attribution of narrations. Jurisprudential, dogmatic, philosophical and syntactic digressions are disregarded. Fabricated sayings and those based on Judeo-Christian traditions and myths are not considered. Only the more likely views are cited as far as Jurisprudential statements are concerned. The positions of Qur’anic verses are specified according to Al-Madinah Copy of the Qur’an. Also academic quotes are documented and attributed to their sources.n Research Plan: The thesis is composed of an introduction, 16 chapters, each of which includes three sections with various subsections, a conclusion and an index. Conclusions: The thesis provides a training opportunity for the meditation of the Book of Allah, Exalted be He, and highlights original sources of exegesis as well as the merits of each exegesis. It also helps acquire the talent of interpreting the Qur’an by means of interpreting some verses through identifying exegetes’ methods and approaches and touching on the development of the science of exegesis.
