Abstract : This paper seeks to achieve two main objectives: first, the analysis of the historical role and technical analysis of the implications and dynamic industrial base in multiple social systems in general and for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in particular. Second attempt to draw a picture anticipatory future of the role and implications of technology and industrial base in the future socio-economic development and urban Saudi Arabia. The paper consists mainly of three parts, the first part includes an introduction and clarify the technical aspects of development, manufacturing and interacting with each other. The second part trying to assess the role of technology and industrialization on the various aspects of effects on development in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the light of proven basic ideas prevalent in many countries in the world, and then moving to address the dilemma of intellectual and technical contents and manufacturing encountered during the development process. Finally, the third part includes summarize and highlight the salient aspects of the study.
