): Summary of the Study: This study aimed to identify the nature of Lifelong Education at the University of King Abdul-Aziz, and confirm its role in the development of teaching methods and ways of teaching and learning effective and the reasons for resorting to a mechanism for achieving equal educational opportunities, and interested in education parallel treatment of formal education gaps that impede access to education for all at all educational levels. Therefore, the problem emerged in the study: what is the nature of the parallel education and the most important forms? And the reality of Lifelong Education at the University of King Abdul-Aziz, and its suitability for achieving the principle of equal educational opportunities? To answer this question researcher used the descriptive method of analysis, and it was a sample study of faculty members at King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah, administrators and students and was a tool to identify the study by the researcher and the statistical treatment applied to the data of the results according to the study the following themes (the return of the parallel education in its current form mechanisms activated at King Abdul-Aziz, funding sources, developing the components of the educational process, methods of linking environment and society from the output system) near unanimity of the inadequacy of the sample categories of formal education which necessitated a parallel system of education, and given greater opportunities to achieve the requirements of the society represented in the labor market needs and the need to link education with work and working link application. One of the most recommended by the study need to establish legislation and regulations and set forth the philosophy of the parallel education and its importance in the face of modern challenges, and the preparation of an organizational structure of each university according to the needs and capabilities and the nature of communal areas that fell within each university.
