Abstract
:
We review stationary axially symmetrical empty space-times possessing similarity property. The solutions which we obtain generalize the solutions of Lewis and van Stockum. The potentials and the null-tetrad components of the Riemann tensor are computed. It is concluded that rotating field solution. in an unrestricted sense, is incompatible with the concept of self-similarity.
