Over the Saudi economy through successive phases of rapid development and cross many sectors and activities, and where the turn of the economy of primitive were not available to have the basics of the national economy from the markets related to freedom of movement and exchange of the advanced economy is characterized by rise of industrial and agricultural compete with the latest technology in the industrialized countries long.
The monetary sector and financial institutions as one of the most important elements that rely upon the growth and development of national economy in all its aspects, without which financial institutions can not build a modern economic base and strong markets.
The flow of oil wealth the State has taken a direct route for the expansion and development of the monetary sector and created specialized financial institutions to finance and keep pace with overall economic activity.
Also identified the goals of economic development plans and policies of the monetary sector and is reflected in the growth and development of the monetary sector in Saudi Arabia.
And has done research in the first part of the follow-up process of the sector since the year 1380 AH to 1405 AH, and determine:
First, the success of the monetary sector to keep pace with growth and development that I have seen the various sectors of the Saudi economy through the collection and documentation of the relevant statistics and compare the amount of growth and development of the monetary sector during the period under study. I have been to determine the growth of this sector in general, and in a relative as part of the local economy as a whole, and in both cases, the monetary sector recorded high rates of growth.
Second, the presence of correlation a statistical significant and direct relationship important to the growth of the monetary sector and the growth of the Saudi economy, it has tested standard in this study that there is a positive relationship and significant between the GDP and the size of the monetary sector and tested standard that there is also a positive relationship and moral significant between GDP and the amount of the development of tools or means cash in the Saudi economy.
In the second part of the research has been the cause or the amount of testing the impact of the monetary sector to the GDP, and it became clear that despite the moral and exponential correlation between these two factors it is difficult to separate the degree of influence of the monetary sector on economic growth. Of course there is a close relationship between Monday, supply is the money depend on the demand for money, which in turn depends on the total income and gross domestic product, but the goal of research in its second part to measure the impact of the expansion in the amount of money on real output and therefore has done research, some standard tests. |
