Abstract
:
The study Hsaús waves in the area of Marine Biology marine core with multiple benefits. The study was completed before the properties of sea waves Jeddah where the measurement and data collection waves, marine and meteorological elements and then use my way of statistical analysis and spectral analysis to address random data collected. The aim of this study was to provide basic information about the characteristics of waves prevailing in the region, and has added a new way to search for knowledge of the properties of waves using wind data, and used the results of this add-in further enrich the discussion and debate ways and methods of analysis used. Has been calculated the properties of the wave, such as its time - height and length in two ways First way direct measurement of waves and the other using the method of spectral analysis that most of the energy present in waves of gravity off the coast of Jeddah is limited on the frequencies of 0.135 Hz (ie, the time of the wave of 7.4 seconds) with the presence of compounds secondary energy fluctuates at frequencies of capillary waves and waves under gravity. While statistical analysis showed the average time range of the wave from 7.0 to 8.5 seconds and the high average wave between 0.7 to 1.20 meters with a distinctive wave height of about 1.60 meters. The wavelength of the medium it is in the range of 100 meters The findings represent a complete package to describe the characteristics of waves in front of Jeddah, which is expected with them to help us a good understanding of the changes in beach-related waves and that this information is necessary to engineer the beaches and researchers in the field of marine science and working in the field of surveillance and control of marine pollution in addition to their importance for workers in urban planning of coastal areas, especially after the rapid population growth to exploit the Saudi coast on the Red Sea.
