The preservation of cultural heritage is an integral part of the process of maintaining the human identity since the museums are the nation's memory as they store their heritage and keep them and linking the children  to the past of their ancestor and the glories of civilization,  they also develop in the individual's sense of belonging to his homeland and the environment, it also contributes to the educational process, and on this basis was interests of the King Abdul Aziz University in the development of scientific existing museums. The creation of new museums for the development of the educational process, and even know their needs established by the management of Museums , It relates to agency President for Academic Affairs and mission coordination with science museums in various sectors of the university authorities to secure their needs and maintain their holdings, maintenance and restoration and defined - but the outlook for the management of the university, represented by Prof. Dr. Abdul Rahman Alyoubi felt that the university status necessitate allocation of special location with an area of 21,700 m2.  The work is underway to put design maps for this big project conformable distinctive specifications, has been taken to be an interactive museum, a university with the public contribute to the enrichment process of education and awareness of cultural and belonging to the University of our beloved Kingdom, Perhaps will see it soon as an interface to the civilized city of Jeddah, featuring exhibits and holdings, whether scientific or historical or cultural heritage or the other to the position of founding the University, which looks stuck in its mission to be at the forefront of international universities.
